STRATEGIC PLANNING

COMMUNITY WORKS  has a wealth of experience gained over 3 decades in facilitating planning exercises for a wide range of groups and organizations. Some examples:

  • Program development: Either developing a new program or engaging groups in evaluating and planning improvements in an existing program. We can also assist with proposal writing for new programs.

  • Long-term strategic planning For a new organization or for an existing organization seeking a new direction for the future;

  • Community planning:  Community Works offers two kinds of community-based planning to First Nations, Inuit and Metis communities in Canada. These two overlap and can be combined in a single planning process.

COMMUNITY RESILIENCE PLANNING focuses on developing an action plan to address entrenched social problems that a community is facing.

COMMUNITY ECONOMIC PLANNING focuses on developing strategies for working towards economic self-reliance and full employment.
